I have a 2005 mustang V6 and as far as i know they aren’t supposed to use E85 or any other type of ethanol. So, is there anyway to convert them to run on it? I want to do it because E85 is almost a dollar cheaper than regular around here.
A: most newer cars are easy. It requires a computer tune to add the right amount of fuel, and sometimes bigger injectors to be able to meet that demand. But as far as conversion parts most will only need a new fuel filter, because the fuel lines, pump, and tank are already abe to handle oxygenated fuels(10%ethanol) This does not make it a flex-fuel vehicle, because it doesn’t have a sensor to determine the ratio of fuels, and a computer tune able to adjust to any ratio between 10-85%.

A: Bassani, for power and its up to the driver for sound. I’ve heard mustangs that I absolutely hated in terms of sound (mostly SLP equipt), and others that sounded great. I’ve found that everyone has a slight oppinion variance when it comes to exhaust.
As for your power question, there is very little power to be gained from the system. Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords did a side by side comparo, and Bassani netted 10hp. That was with a headers back swap, not just mufflers.
Ford put a really good exhaust on this car, and its good to 600hp. The sound is a bit dull, but as I said before its all in the ear of the beholded. Go to a cruise night or car show and listen for yourself. Also make sure the cars have the same setup as yours. Modified engines will sound different anyways.I ‘ve got bassani’s on my 90GT and love them, chose to leave my 06GT stock until I find that right set of mufflers.

A: seems a personal preference, and not sure if you are running a GT, Cobra, or a 6 but for me if it was a GT or Cobra I would go black on black wide stripes (Shelby GT look) and clear coat. If it was a 6 cyl I would stick to the narrow stripes along the side sills (unless its been supercharged/with a catback.

A: A GT is going to still be high. but a normal would probably be around $7-9000. And it also depends on what shape the car is in. A coupe/ convertible doesn’t make a difference in price.

A: Okay so a used 05-09 cost what about $20,000 say you take out a 5 year car loan so that’s $4,000 per year which is about $333.33 per month. So then insurance will be maybe $100 per month so round up to say $500 per month. So if this is all your paying for then $6,000 per year would cover you for the car alone. So if u work an average job making $7 after taxes and work 30 hours (which is about 4 days per week) per week per year u would make $10,080 per year which will cover the car 
idk where your from but I worked at bill millers and I was making $9 after taxes and I was still in high school.

A: On the side of transmission housing,reachable when car on the lift.There is no need to check or fill if there is no leak,hence no dipstick.

A: Well, there are three factors…the insurance company’s rates, your discounts, and the level of coverage.
Mercury insurance generally will be the cheapest insurance rates, and liberty mutual will be 2nd or 3rd cheapest.
If you want the cheapest insurance rates, tell them you want the state minimum requirements for auto insurance, don’t add on anything such as rental car, etc, and say you want a liability only policy. This will not put comprehensive coverage on your policy, and will reduce the term rates for you.
However, this is not a good way to go, I would say pay a good amount for your insurance, because at crunch time after an accident or theft has occurred, whatever amount you damaged or are found responsible for, you are legally liable for. So basically, whatever the insurance pays is great, but anything past that you are responsible for by law. This means that if you have a liability only, state minimum policy and total a $50,000 car, your insurance company will pay $10,000 to the other party, not pay anything for your vehicle, deny you a rental car, and the other party will take you to court for the remaining $40,000. I highly suggest getting a middle level coverage auto policy for peace of mind, it may not be the cheapest price around, but you won’t have to worry about losing your house or savings account over it.

Q: 2005 Mustang convertible rear window falling out?
I have a 2005 Ford Mustang and the convertible top material is peeling away from the rear glass window. It is causing leaking to the back seats. At first it slowly started peeling away, but now the material has totally lifted from the window in certain places. Not sure how this happens? Maybe from the heat being that I live in Florida. Does anyone know if there was a recall on this? or if maybe my extended warranty can cover it? It is not something that I did, It obviously is from cheap materials used by the manufacturer. Thanks.
A: A convertible top that is not garaged lasts on average 5 years. Replace the top and get a car cover.

A: They will go on without a problem.
The 2005+ have the same bolt pattern but different offset, so they will pooch out just slightly more than your stock wheels.

A: i think the 255 would be to big, you could try 245 but I think you are gonna have to stick with 235, this is what my husband does for a living and he told me how to answer this for you.
