I need to replace the radiator tank on my 06 Ford Mustang V6 after running into some ice, How much would it run me if i took the radiator out and took it to a shop and asked them to just replace the radiator tank? Thanks… -Nick

A: more than likely you have a plastic tank on that and if you do you might as well just go buy a new radiator.

Q: what is the maximum rim size for an 06 ford mustang?
like with no modifications needed whats the biggest size i could throw on there…and what would you recomend?

A: oh geez. i think it came stock with 17s. you can always go bigger but at what cost. are you ok with them rubbing at max turn? if not 18s would probably be the biggest, if your ok with never turning your wheel all the way, possibly 20s

Q: Is an 04-06 Ford Mustang GT a good first car?
I heard the standard V6 is a little weak, and even though I’m a new driver, a little extra power is not a bad thing. Maybe if I look around enough, should I get a GT with the Pony Package? What does it come with besides a spoiler and a nice front chrome trim?

A: let’s say, DECIDE ON YOUR OWN justa be sure it’s not an 04-06 mustang. i bet you’re talking about 05-09 mustang.

and keep in mind that GT(V8) does not come with the Pony package. it’s only a v6 that comes with pony package.

Q: can you suggest a hood scoop for my 06 Mustang?
I have a white with dark red racing stripes 06 Ford Mustang. I like the look of the hood scoops. can you suggest one for my car? Im guessing it will be non functional unless i have a big hole cut out of the hood. I like it just for the look. If i can order it factory painted that would be a plus too. High performance white. Does anyone like the Roush hood scoops, or are there better ones?

Q: I have a ford mustang GT 06 and my steering wheel shaking after i bought my rims 20′?
about a year ago i bought new set of rims 20′ and even when i am driving 20mph my steering wheel shakes real fast… i took my car into a tire shop and got it balanced and it still shakes… is it my tires? maybe i bought some damaged tires or defected tires?

A: if you still have your stock wheels and tires put them back on and see ifthe problem goes away and if it does it’s either bad wheels or you have a bad tire.

Q: is there a plug for a zune in a 2006 ford mustang?
i was looking in my boyfriends car and he has a mazda and his plug is on the face of the radio plate.. but im wondering if a ‘06 ford mustang does? and if so where would it be? otherwise how would i be able to plug it into the car?

I am using my Car every day with almost 150KM per day then is it going to effect my car?

A: Use only synthetic lubricants and do all your scheduled maintanence on time and you should have no problems to at least 120,000 miles.

Q: is the hyundai tiburon 06 better looking than the ford mustang 04?
the ford mustang is very long in relation to its wheelbase. those big arches are so ugly. the wheel/tire look so small in relation to the car. plus the interior is awful. i like the fact that the mustang is rwd and has better mileage. what do u guys think?

Q: How reliable is the Ford Mustang? (05, 06)?
How reliable is the Mustang? (everyday driving wise… no racing or anything). I have read in Consumer Reports that the 05 model got rated as one of the most unreliable cars. Is this true?

A: it’s only unreliable if you don’t take care of it (same w/ any car)

A: Well if you want speed, the RX-8 is the slowest of the bunch.
The Mustang is nice, and pretty fast so you can’t really go wrong there (unless you get the V6?).
The Cobalt SS/SC is a nice car. They are relatively cheap and pretty quick stock. With just a few hundred bucks (smaller pulley, bigger injectors, exhaust) they are really fast.
So, I’d go for the Cobalt. You get good gas mileage, great performance for a small price.

Q: 2006 Dodge Charger or 2005-06 Ford Mustang?
Im a 16 year old guy and ive got roughly 8-9K to spend on a car
Ive seen tons of both of the cars for that price
and obviousley i wouldnt be buying a GT or the nicer version of either car. just the basics
I just dont know which one to get.

A: OMG! I jus had the same dilemma between a Charger and a Mustang. I took Charger for a test drive to my dad’s house. On the 10 min drive there, I seen 11 jus goin there and more coming back. I did not want a car that alot of ppl already had. I was like oh no! Both cars are heavy on gas but charger has less miles to the gallon. ALOT of ppl here have Chargers (Georgia). Who needs 4 doors? A family man or grocery shopping grandma! The Mustang has 2 doors and that makes it fierce. Charger is big and bulky to me and the turns are wide. Needless to say I chose the Mustang, 06 baby!! When i took t for the test drive i was very satisfied. This muscle car has pure horsepower. You are young, u need a car that is real sporty and gets u alot of attention. Mustangs have a long credible, reputation. Go for a drive and see how many Chargers are on the road. I really hopes this helps you. Good luck!!

Q: what is the REAL WORLD gas mileage on a 06 or 2007 ford mustang GT?
THINKING OF BUYING A 2007 GT MUSTANG AND AM CURIOUS WHAT THE REAL GAS MILEAGE PEOPLE ARE GETTING IN THESE.

A: I have an 06 GT that gets right at 19.5 mpg. I drive about 80 miles in traffic during the weekend and about 90 on the highways on the weekends. With the AC on and cruising at 75 my little info center claims 24.5 MPG on the highway. When I ride around town I tend to stoplight to stoplight it. But for a v-8 car weighing in at over 3500 lbs, I couldn’t be happier with the MPGs. Get the car, you will smile from ear to ear non stop.

Oh hey bumbles, try owning one first. You are more than welcome to come check out my gas mileage in my car. Heck I’ll take you on a 250 mile run to burn a tank and refill just so you can see the exact mileage. Stock they are 300 HP, not 400 or 500.

A: Well [consider these cars with a v8] otherwise whats’ the point…[in my opinion]

i’d go with the Charger v8… because i love a full size 4door v8 sedan rather than a 2door anything!
