A: this question’s answer is dependent on which model mustang, along with what style race(s) you’d be having. in a straight drag race, against the V8 (mustang gt), the mustang wins in both the 0-60 (5.75s over the TT at 5.95s) and the quarter mile (14.02 over the TT 14.68). however, the TT wins both races in less than perfect road conditions including rain or snow when the roads are slick (thanks to the Quattro AWD system). also, if the race is on a road course i.e. lots of difficult turns and such, the TT wins by versatility. this, of course, depends on the drivers being of equal skill behind the wheel. either way, i’m rooting for your TT.

if he’s getting the V6, then it’s no competition, the TT wins in any event.

A: With the exception of long tube headers, you’re basically wasting money for exhaust modifications on the S197 GTs the stock system isn’t particularly restrictive . However cold air intakes are popular and you will see decent gains with a tune. Gears are won’t give you any more power or torque, but the offer better mechanical advantage to use the power you do have more effectively. For an S197 GT, 4.10s are the way to anything less than that isn’t a worthwhile upgrade. Forced induction will offer the biggest gains, for a correspondingly higher price.

Q: 07 Ford Mustang – How to remove and repair window switch bezel (to fix buzzing) – TSB 07-17-6?
I have a 2007 Ford Mustang Convertible, which gets a lot of buzzing/rattling from the bass. The rattling is in the window switch bezels, and the TSB 07-17-6 has instructions for how to fix it, but the dealership wants to charge me a TON of money to get it fixed. So I need to do it myself but I am concerned that I will damage the bezel or another part of my vehicle. How can I remove the bezels without damaging them? What tools should I use? How can I be sure that I can remove the bezels, separate them, tape them, and reinstall them safely without breaking the window switches or rendering them inoperable?

Abbreviated instructions follow: 1) Remove window switch bezel from door panel and separate the two-piece bezel. 2) Install PVC soft foam tape (I’m buying this tape from the dealership). 3) Reinstall window switch bezel and verify proper operation of the window switches.

A: I would ask your Ford dealer for a printout of the instructions or just purchase a Haynes Manual for it. This will help you in any future endeavors with the car and allow you to perform routine maintenance on it more effectively. I do not know how to specifically repair the window switch, but you can use these instructions to get you started on gaining access to it:

this causes many different lights to then comes on, and seems to only come up after or during longer drives. If at all the level seems to be high.

A: FEEL THE BRAKE PEDAL, IF ITS SPONGY-BLEED THE SYSTEM !

A: you can go to the ford website and more than likely find out the info there the fuse will also run a couple of other things quite possible the motor for the pump is bad or blocked lines check those first

A: My rule of thumb is as follows: a mustang gt (v8) is a man’s car ; a base mustang (v6) is a woman’s car.
