Q: How do you remove the headrest from a 07 mustang?
I have a 07 mustang GT and need to remove the headrest to have embroidered

A: Follow the directions in your owners manual for adjusting the height of the head restraints. (see diagram on page 86)
You should be able to pull the posts all the way up & out of the seat to remove the the headrest.

I have a 07 mustang and its around 450 hp and i was looking to replace my stock pistions, crankshaft and connecting rods with forge ones or just stronger ones and was wondering how much would it cost for all three plus labor?

A: two options you can buy all the forged components and then have the machinest do his job and pay the mechanic to do all his work and them probably not warrinty his work since its all not stock or you can check out dss racing website and get a whole new 4.6 pro mod block with all forged parts for 2400 and just put your top end and blower back out. since i am sure you have a blower since you have 450 hp then you can change the pulley and crank your boost up more and get you around 475 ish. i am so jelious of that 3 valve mustang from 0 and up. the 4 valves on mach 1 didnt do as good with boost and spray on the dyno than the 3 valves did

Q: How to remove the front “pony” emblem on a 07 mustang?
I bought a 07 mustang and i want to remove the running horse emblem on the front ,is their a easy way to do this with out fucking it up too bad?

A: Just get a screwdriver and do it gently.
Why are you removing it anyway, you want a new belt-buckle?

A: With the exception of long tube headers, you’re basically wasting money for exhaust modifications on the S197 GTs the stock system isn’t particularly restrictive . However cold air intakes are popular and you will see decent gains with a tune. Gears are won’t give you any more power or torque, but the offer better mechanical advantage to use the power you do have more effectively. For an S197 GT, 4.10s are the way to anything less than that isn’t a worthwhile upgrade. Forced induction will offer the biggest gains, for a correspondingly higher price.

Q: what will win a polaris 525 with a ktm motor or a 07 mustang v6?
i have this atv that i bought and its fast as hell and ive seen videos of this atv beating cars in a 1/4 mile drag. so i started to wonder that if i race my buddys 07 mustang v6 do i have a chance.

A: You’ve seen a video of the atv you now own, with a KTM motor, beating cars? Or a Polaris 525 with a Polaris motor beating cars? Links please!! A quad would tend to get to get kind of unstable at the sort of speeds a Mustang (even a V6) can reach at the end of a quarter-mile. Maybe you could challenge him to a 1/4-mile dirt race?!

When I accelerate, getting on the interstate for example, my radio volume increases considerably. Is this normal? What is causing it?

A: Well, get something installed in the car that normally isn’t in a car. ….like a microwave or a snowcone machine…saw that on Pimp my Ride. lol. But seriously, if she’s totally in love with the car, get a better security device installed. If you can afford it, I know that there is a security device that has been invented that recognizes programmed fingerprints of people who are allowed to drive the vehicle. If the print doesn’t match, the car will not start and something with the computer has to be reset so the car will run again. Very expensive, though.
If that doesn’t fit in your price range, offer to pay for a full detailing of the car.
….or better yet
Hire a professional photographer to take hot rod calendar style photos of her with her car in 12 different poses/outfits/backgrounds…and make a calendar.
Not only will she have beautiful photos of her and her car, she will have something to help boost her self image! Girls like that kind of stuff. ;)

Q: How much $$ would it cost to make my 07 mustang a hardtop convertable?
I have a mustang right now not convertable how much would it be to make it a hardtop convertable i dont like rag top

A: That would be quite a feat. I don’t think the contours and the available trunk will match up. I found a place that will make hardtops for convertables but not what you describe.
I don’t think it’s a doable project but keep us posted.

Q: How do I install a Ducktail spoiler on my 07 Mustang?
I am looking to replace my factory Gt spoiler from my 2007 Ford mustang gt and put on a Ducktail spoiler? Some have said that if I replace the original spoiler then I will have holes and the ducktail doesn’t use those??

A: Depending on the size and shape of the ducktail it may overlap the original factory holes. You may be able to find a spoiler that even uses them.

If not; you’ll have holes to fill and paint. A good way to cover the holes while you save up for the real work would be to have a local sign shop cut you some circular vinyl dots that are slightly larger then the actual holes in a color that is close to your factory paint. It’s not ideal but could cover the unsightly holes for a short time.

Q: what would win in a race a 01 mustang v6 stick or a 07 mustang auto?
i know there only v6s and im fine with that but i want to know that since the 01 has a 3.8 in it and the 07 has a 4.0. what will win they are both stock besides having wider rims on the 01.

A: It would be a good race. The 07 has 17 HP and 25 pound feet of torque on the 01 however it also is 500 pounds heavier than the 01. If it was a half way descent driver in the 01 I would put my money on him.

Q: Does anyone know the 07 Mustang windshield wiper fluid motor’s Fuse?
I have an 07 ford mustang and for some reason my windshield wiper fluid isn’t running even though i refilled it as soon as the problem came up. I don’t have an owner’s manual or fuse placard. Your help would be appreciated…

A: you can go to the ford website and more than likely find out the info there the fuse will also run a couple of other things quite possible the motor for the pump is bad or blocked lines check those first

Q: Will wheels off a 07 Mustang fit on my truck?
I have a 01 F-150 XLT 4×4 Supercab and am just curious if the wheels from a 07 mustang would fit. My truck and the wheels I am interested in are both 17’s.

A: yeah the guy above is correct….. the bolt pattern is diffirent….
