Q: How do I pair my cell phone to blue tooth on my 2008 Ford Mustang?
I have a 2008 Ford Mustang with the bluetooth option. I can pair my device with other handsfree headsets. But I try to run it on my car and it dosent seem to find anything. I have also looked in the cars manual and found nothing. Please help!

A: you don’t. 08 mustang DOES NOT have sync as an option.

sync is available ONLY in the focus, fusion, taurus, taurus X, explorer, edge, and expedition this year.

your radio has a phone button, but that is only because ford uses a generic face for the head unit.

your sales professional should have let you know that up front, and i am sure if you contact them, they will tell you the same.

Q: What kind of mufflers are stock on the 2008 Ford Mustang?
Besides calling them “stock” mufflers, what details can I know about the mufflers that are stock on a 2008 Mustang GT? What style are they? What brand would be similar if I wanted to customize a different vehicle with Mustang-style mufflers?

A: Ford Brand mufflers.

Q: Is the 2008 Ford Mustang GT okay in the winter time? I live in Virginia. ?
I am planning on buying a ford mustang and I wanted to if it does okay in the winter time since it is a rear wheel drive. Also I know that the new models have traction control. Does this help?

A: If you want to loose control in Mustang GT you can because it’s engine produces 300hp, 320 ft/trq and that can spin the wheel easily at first gear. Shift slowly and don’t get it to high rpms. It will be an awesome car, beside mustangs have one of the safest chassis. It’s 5 star in front, side and rollover crashes for the front seats.

Q: How much would it take to get a V8 swapped for a V6 in a 2008 Ford Mustang?
I have an ‘08 Mustang and I wanna trade the V6 for a V8, I’m thinking of selling the V6 for the V8 and buy the difference. How much would it be?

A: The cost to achieve this would FAR exceed the amount of money you would lose in the sale of the vehicle and just buying a new v8 car. You would literally need everything(engine, trans, mounts, lines, cooling system, gauges, ecu,EVERYTHING) to complete this swap and on top of that you would need to pay someone to remove all of the old equipment and install the new equipment. AGAIN, I suggest considering selling this car and buying a v8 and just eating the loss. It will be far smoother, much less of a headache and cost you less out of pocket.

Good luck, hope this helps!

Q: were can i rent a srt8 red dodge charger or a 2008 red ford mustang shelby in the houston area?
i am looking to rent a red srt8 dodge charger or a 2008 red ford mustang shelby for an especial occasion in the houston area?
please let me know if any ideas?

A: You might try Galleria Exotics. It looks like they may have what you need. The price they quote is actually not bad. Just realize they usually have a Rev Limiter on these. If you rev them up too much they have a kill switch that cuts it off, and your have to pay to have it picked up. Other than that, they are loads of fun and for a special ocassion, worth the $500 plus insurance.

I rented one for my wife’s 50th birthday, and it was the biggest surprise of her life. The picture I have of her shows her grinning ear to ear, and you can see it through the windshield. Best picture I ever got of her, and she still talks about it.

Q: How do I remove the stock shifter knob in my 2008 ford mustang?
I have tried to unscrew it, but it free spins and I have also tried to pull it off, with no luck. Please help me if someone can.

A: All details are on their home page

Q: What does a 2008 Ford Mustang Cost in USD in Romania?
I know the conversion is about $1.00 US Dollar to .40 cents RON, But I was wondering what Mustangs sold for there, Also are muscle cars a big seller in romania and which of those are…

A: Let me say this a Mustang ain’t the easiest car you want to be driving in Romania unless maybe it’s an automatic. In Romania trafic conditions are fairly poor and the suspension on that thing would go out quite easilly. Not only this but Romania as a whole has mainly stop and go traffic and cities. Mustangs are not great for stop and go traffic due to engine power and size.
Finding a parking spot also in Romania with a Mustang is a challenge. In Romania a Mustang size wise would be a luxury size if not a full size sedan. Besides this you also need to think if you want to bring a Mustang from the outside about Romanian taxes.
In Romania besides custom duties there is also a tax for first registration with the Romanian DMV. With a top end Mustang you will probably look at 3-4000 Euros for that tax alone!
A top end Mustang will probably eat you a lot of gas as well. in Romania gas is now on average about 4lei/L (the kind a mustang uses). This comes up to about $5 a gallon. Talk about a heck of a fuel bill. In Romania you would also have minor problems at least getting the car repaired and getting parts. If the country does not sell the car then think about how easy that is.
In Romania most cars sold have an engine size between 1.2 and 1.8L and a manual gearbox. By comparison a simple chevrolet cavalier starts out at about a 2.2 L with a automatic gearbox.
Hope that info helps.

Q: Can a 2005 Acura TSX beat a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 in a 1/4 mile?
I know its a stupid question, but my brother tells me his automatic mustang can beat beat my stick shift acura. he keeps bugging me to race him in the back roads but that would be the stupidest thing i could do. So can anyone just tell me?

A: I’d say so because the V6 Mustangs only got the same engine as a Ford Explorer and Ford Ranger which is a 4.0L V6. Yeah, doesn’t sound so bad anymore. Now if it was a GT or a Cobra, that’s a whole different story.

Q: When Driving A 2008 Ford Mustang GT, What RPM Do You Let It Hit Before You Shift?
In normal driving. Not racing or anything like that. In normal driving conditions. I’m just curious.

A: You could upshift at 2500 – 3000 if you like. I couldn’t do it though, I would have to hear the motor reving.

Q: How much would my insurance be for a 20 year old female trying to get a 2008 Ford Mustang V6 Coupe?
clean drivers record
I’d like to get numbers. I already know it would be high.

A: its very easy to get a quote online.
i just went to a few websites and got online quotes, then applied and paid online and i was insured in 10 minutes.
then they mail you out all the policy.

Q: I might get the 2008 Ford Mustang GT, could someone tell me about this car?
Tell me what fetures i could get on it and all that other stuff please and thank-you.

A: how about going to the ford website for features and pick up some car review magazines or look for it on the internet.

Q: About how much would a 2008 ford mustang cost monthly?
Just an estimate, only serious answers please.

A: v6 well optioned 0 down roughly 400. v8 well optioned roughly 550.

Q: I have a stock 2008 Ford Mustang GT Premium. What is the best way to increase performance with $12k or less?
I would like more horsepower and a faster 0-60 (top speed is less important to me then accelaration). I would also like to have a better suspension, but I only have $12,000 to spend on it. What is the best way to spend that money.

A: gears, i personally would go with 3.73, and headers, exhaust, cold air, computer chip, ford racing clutch

Q: how do you check the transmission fluid in a 2008 ford mustang?
i’ve searched all under the hood and i’m just not seeing where to check at.

A: You cant the transmission doesn’t have a dipstick. Your best bet is to take it to the shop and let them check it. Ford like most other manufactures are doing away with transmission dipsticks. Your transmission pan has a dual plug in it and the only way to add fluid is with the car on a lift with a pump and adapter.

Q: What Car Is Better, A 2008 Ford Mustang Gt Or A Chrysler 300c?
Im caught. i want a fast, good looking and awesome car. so help me decide. Give me your opinion and why you think that.

A: They’re completely different cars. The Chrysler 300c is a large luxury sedan. The Ford Mustang GT is a muscle car (and I think I prefer the Camero, unless you’re looking a few years old and used).

The Chrysler 300 has an amazing amount of room for the driver. The base model v6 is pretty sluggish, so a 300c would be a good choice. 300s with large rims just look terrible though — don’t wreck it!

I’m going to throw something else out there, that’s a little bit inbetween both cars in terms of size. How about a Cadillac CTS?
