A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – autoinsurance.undonet.com

Q: How much did the Ford dealer in Chicago paid for one 2008 Mustang V6 Coupe Premium with auto transmission.?
I dont wanna pay full MSRP price. I want to buy the sale price. Thanks

A: Go to Edmund.com’s forums….they have tons of people who share their purchasing experiences with other folks. It will give you a good idea as to how much you should be paying for.

Q: What would they be charged with?..(Canada)?
I Just heard of someone in our paper that did jthis yesterday.
I was really curious as, I never really heard of this one before.

Two people go into a car dealership, One tells the sale person that he is looking to buy a car, after talking awhile, he asks to go on a test drive.. (2008 Mustang).
The sales man, takes the appropriate copy of drivers Lic. etc.
the person then drives off the lot alone..fills the car up with gas, keeps it for a whole day driving all over with it…later that night they sneak back and park the car with the keys in it in a fast food place across from the dealership and leave it there..they call the dealership and tell them that the car is right across the street, and where the key is and that they just were driving all day for fun and they just brought it back, nothing was done to the car except lots of mileage was added on it.
What may the charge and sentence be in court? He did have permission to take car and no time was mention to return it?
Since the car was returned, even though the lot for a while did not know it was returned, it logically was not stolen only borrowed.
First the dealer did report car stolen.
Second it was not me nor am I even considering doing this, it was an actual report in our news paper.

A: In Canada… charges could be ??????
In my state, they would probably be looking at Misdemeanor Joy Riding if the dealership would want to press charges.

Q: Car for sale, is it too cheap? what wrong?
I came across an ad for a 2008 mustang bullitt, and its for sale for $14,000 with only 3,000km on it. Automatic. I read other listings for vehicles similar and they sell for $25,000 and up. This seems like a strange occurance, what do you think? Would there be something wrong with the car? (They have pictures of the exterior and interior and under the hood and it appears nothing wrong with it)

I’d love this car.

This is what the guy says on the listing::

This vehicle has been on the road for 2 weeks and I was the first registered owner. It has made one trip to Manitoba and has just over 3000 Kms. Has all the features of the Bullitt special edition and is completely bone stock with factory warrantee and roadside package.

A: I would put out that it might have something wrong with it, but as long as it comes with a warranty I would buy it If I was you. Cause with a warranty if anything is wrong it would get fixed for free, but be sure to make sure to read the fine print on it of course and most importantly ask what is not covered. If your that iffy about it. Take it to a mechanic. when purchasing any vechile you are allowed to to take it to a mechanic to have them look at it. also request a carfax report to make sure what he said is true. well, good luck and hope all is well.

A: “something” is wrong with that car. It ran kilometers in the US, that is really weird, maybe it fell off a boat to europe ?

Q: any cars for sale?
i’m looking for one of the two:
2005-2008 Ford Mustang.
2005-2008 Mistubishi Eclipse.

I need them REALLY cheap.
Pleaseeeee help me. :/

Q: On a Scale of 1-10 what do you think?
so i got my license on my first try.
And my parents said i could have their 2008 mustang. So then i told everyone. but when they told me, it was like 7months ago. And now they said “You still unexperienced so we cant trust with that car” and now everyone thinks im fake. and we have a grey pickup, 2004 tahoe, and this ugly astro van and they want me to get the Astro Van!
it looks like this

http://www.travelbc.bc.ca/cms_images/for_sale/94_Astro_Gray.JPG

on a scale of 1-10 what do you think?
thats not mine btw, ours is red and nicer looking.
my parents said that also at school kids could key my car so i should get the van, im fine with the Van but im very materialistic. i DO care what people think.
i think its a good idea, incase i crash or something it’ll hurt that ugly van and not the goodlucking car
its actually really easy to drive.

A: No, Yahoo Hotjobs does not do a background check on companies that post a job opening on their site.

Mustang PC Ltd appears to be a scam of some kind. No legitimate company does business in the manner that they describe.

If I were you, I’d just ignore this job offer as it is highly questionable.

Q: I bought a 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo and?
Ok, stupid question. I bought this car and you would think they would be happy for the sale. The sales guy tells me this is too much car for a woman. Now I am 44 and I know how to drive decently. They told me it would be too much and would fishtail etc. Ok, well the computer chip stops that and so far ok. I got it up to 113 MPH today and that is the highest I have gotten it and I have had it 2 months. My problem is everywhere I go kids see this black sports car and try to race me. I never go fast so I guess you think it is a waste but I love the car. I am now not wanting to drive it. I have almost been hit numerous times with cars coming up wicked fast behind me and then a red light, I stop and they almost don’t. It seems they want to beat me. I am not sure what car can beat me and don’t care. I have had some nice mustangs try and who knows if the can. I am ready to park it and drive my audi. Is this too much car for me? Did I make huge mistake?

A: This is not a stupid question. You made a large investment in your auto and obviously given your knowledge of computer controlled traction control and skid control, you read up on the Turbo and know that it is a super-car.

The sales guy is a fool. There are very good drivers out there that are women. In Drag racing, there were Shirley Muldowny, Ashley Force and Kitty O’Neil. In Indy type racing, Danica Patrick and Milka Duno race with the ‘boys.’ As of yet, I have not seen any scientific data that proves that men drive better than women due to physiological or anatomical differences based on gender. If I were making the purchase and the salesman said to me what he had said to you, then I would’ve given the commission to another salesperson and verbally blasted the sales-jerk with a tongue as spirited as the car you purchased. What he said was just dead wrong. A letter to Porsche America is justified.

I would strongly suggest to any man or woman that when they buy a super-car that they enroll themselves into a performance driving school. This could be a weekend or even a full week of driving instruction and or track time depending on how much available time you have. Driving decently is not the question. There are people driving underpowered econo-boxes that get involved in accident after accident. Obviously you are not in that category, but wouldn’t it be nice to better understand what your top of the line 911 can do?

There are many reasons to enroll in a performance driving school. One reason is the thrill factor. When you were thinking about getting the Turbo and when first driving the car, I know you felt exhilarated. Performance driving schools that operate on closed-courses (racetracks) will help restore that same feeling. Not only are they fun do with your newest addition to the garaged family, but they will teach many aspects of spirited driving that you may not be aware of. By learning the ins and outs of your car, you will also be safer whether you are driving like a racer or driving Miss Daisy.

There are many different styles of cars and a car that may be appealing to one may not be appealing to another. One person may only be interested in a car because it is fast when another may seem the same car and see a work of art and not just an autobahn screamer.

When I was younger, I had a very heavy lead foot. In high school, my car would see 100+mph almost every day. When a family friend police officer gave me advice, I had to listen. He told me… Certain cars will always attract attention. Certain drivers will always attract attention. Some of the attention is good, but most of it is bad. He went on to say that if somebody is lining up to race, then you can race and hope to win by throwing caution to the wind or get under their skin by doing something totally opposite what they expect; drive even slower!

Yes, I know what the driver’s manuals state… you should always check your mirrors, but don’t focus on what other people are doing behind you so much. Focus on YOU. You bought a car that you love. In addition to being a very fast car, the Porsche Turbo is a work of art. It is simply beautiful even when parked and not moving at close to its ridiculous top speed. The purchase of the Turbo is also a statement. You are obviously successful and able to purchase the Turbo when others are complaining about a souring world economy. This is yet another reason to be proud of your Turbo. You made it happen!!!

If I were you, then I’d do a couple of things. First I’d tint the windows so that people outside couldn’t see who was driving. Screw the nosey-bodies. Let them wonder. Yes, window tinting is illegal in many states, but the fine is very cheap and there are no points with it. If you are stopped and questioned about your window tint, tell the officer that you were attracting too much attention and this was safer. The officer may write the ticket or might not. Even if the officer does, who cares; it is typically only a $50 fine. The second thing I’d do is enroll in a performance driving school. There is no better way to get familiar with your auto then to bring it to a track for structured learning. Some might even refer to it as getting intimate with their auto by learning how the auto leans, turns, slides and rebounds! (Laughing.) You never know how much fun you could have. Who knows, by the spring you might even consider weekend racing. The SCCA (Sports Cars Club of America) has a number of events all over the country that sets up courses with pylons and people race their cars against the stopwatch in a very safe environment.

This is YOUR car. Drive it how YOU wish. At 44, you know that you cannot please everybody all the time. Why should this time be any different? It shouldn’t. Most people could be jealous that you are driving the Turbo and not them.

Q: Question about purchasing a new car?
recently i had a 2003 mustang GT. It unfortunatly was tapped (when selling it, the ammount owed on the car was higher than trade in value), so i traded it in towards a 2008 honda accord. Unfortunatly i had to roll over 4500 to the accord account. now here is the big problem. i hate the car. ive had it for about 3 weeks. i dont like it, i miss my mustang. I saw a nice mustang for sale for 18000 now. its unbelievable. is it possile to get that mustang? i dont know if it makesa difference but i have gap insurence on the car. please help me in my crisis
i have had it for 2 weeks, dont they have 30 day policies for cars?

A: Stop trading cars in until you clean up your finance mess. Didn’t you test drive the Accord before you buy it?

Q: Is This Escalade A Good Car?
I found a 2005 Cadillac Escalade Sport Utility AWD that has 45,000 miles. It is in “excellent” condition, says car.com, and is for sale for $21,000. I was just wondering if this is a good first car. The pictures make it look like it is in a very good condition.

I was looking at getting a new Mustang for a first car, but at $31,000, it is a little bit pricey. Obviously, I like the Escalade much more, mostly because it is bigger.

However, I am also looking at a 2008 BMW 328i Sedan 4D. It has 35,000 miles and is for sale at $23,995. This is also a 4 door car. I can’t decide between the two. What do you guys think?

A: NO! Unless you have plenty of money to keep it up… will nickle/dime you to death. Go for the BMW.

Q: Am I spoiled? High maintenance? I’m very confused! I don’t wish to be rude or ignorant. Please help?
I do need everyone’s honest opinion.
I’m afraid I might be a ’spoiled brat’, a ‘high maintenance girl’ or something of the sort. I really don’t want to be!

I don’t usually like to talk about myself, but I suppose I would have to in order for someone to honestly and truthfully answer the question. Please keep in mind that i’m saying this in all modesty, Im not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings!!

I’m 16 and live in what I concider to be a well-to-do area. My aprent’s home is on a hill with a gate at the top of the driveway. Our home is 4,500 square feet, however I have a room with a closet, no personal bathroom or anyhting. We do have a pool, but it’s a bit more nesicary because there is no public one, and it’s nice to invite friends and family over for backward barbecues during the summer. I personally thinkt eh house is very nice, but we did pay for it, and my parents just sold our other house to pay for the mortgage. We purchaced it from j rockcliff realtors, it’s not like it was just given to us.

For my sixteenth birthday, I did recieve a yellow mustang convertable, however even at the time of recieving it, after driving it arroudn some I felt a bit uneasy, I had done nothing to deserve the car. I felt bad, and after 8 months of driving, I’ve given it back to may panrents, but 1 month ago I did something that kinda cancels it out. I bought another car (this one was with my own money) and I’m still making monthly payments on it from the dealer. It’s a 2008 530i automatic. Although I’m paying for it with my own saved money (that I earned, wasn’t handed) does driving it make me spoiled? or high mantinence? I was also thinking of purchacing another convertable, because my parents have two, (one that they have and the yellow one I gave back to them) but I would like my own. I was thinking of buying a used porsche boxster from the porsche dealer in walnut creek. Again I would make payments and use my won money, but will owning it make me spoiled?

I do like to get my nails done once a week. I travel down the hill to victoria’s hair and spa at the blackhawlk plaza, and get them there. I pay for it myself, and it’s just somehtign I love to do. I’ve never gotten a pedicure however, and although I get my hair done I’ve never dyed it.

I find clothing and shopping to be more of a hobby than an actual necisity. Some people collect old coins, or nice furniture, I like to collect clothes. I do buy high-end brands, but I get them on sale at stores (such as nordstrom or bloomies, I always got oto the sale section), and even used, such as places like ebay. I do have very nice clothing, however I’ve purchaced most of it myself, and find it to be a collection. I’ve collected 40+ pairs of shoes, ( about 1/2 are designer, but most of the name brand stuff I purchaced on sale), 20 pairs of denim (it’s premium/brand name, however most of it I get from ebay, used or from sale racks at nordstrom or saks fifth), and other things such as coats jackets and shirts. My parents give me 500$ a year to shop for clothes (wich I will admit I dont ahve a problem accepting, should I be feeling bad when I acept it?) but everyhting else I pay for out of pocket.

Same with purses. I really like europian brands, and unfrtuantely they are expensive. I’ve tried buying replica handbags before, but the quality was dispicable, I’ve obtained 40+ authentic handbags… some have been from outlet stores but the ones that aren’t have cast me lots of money… should I feel guilty about purchacing them? I do pay with my own money, and I need laptop carriers and luggage… but should I not purchace the premium ones? I DONT want to come off as sopiled or bratty. I dont want people to judge me just because of what I own!

My parents gave me an iphone 3 months ago, it’s really fun and all, however I didn’t like taht they were paying 90$ a month for service. I felt becasue I was using the hpone I should pay. I got a new phone, (wich my aprnets bought for 30$) wich is also a touch-screen, it’s a samsung but they only pay 10$ a months for 200 munites, I pay the remainder for unlimited munites, texting, and internet.

I purchaced a macbook used and use it for my schoolwork. I do however use my aprnests internet/wifi and feel abd about it, should I offer to reimberse them?

My tv was a gift from my grandparents, it’s a plasma screen however my frinds use it when they come over, and on some nights my brother comes into my room to use it to watch fotball with his buddies. should I attempt to return it? I dont want to be spoiled, but I really like using it!

Also, we live in the hills where there is gret hiking, however my parents bought me a gym membership and I accpeted it. I graduated high school two years early at the ned of sophmore year, and seince then I haven’t had much excersize. I’m a fit and healthy person, however just being skinny isnt enough, you need muscle and vitality. I accepted the membership in hoping to gain (muscle)
in hoping to gain (muscle) weight. My dodcor did reccomend them purcahce it for me to do strength training (the gym stuff we have at home is just cardio for my mom) but should i be paying for this as well? I really dont want to be so relaint on them!

My grandmother died recently, and left me some very nice things in the will. I inherited gold jewelry along with pearl and diamond pieces, some of wich was tifffany. I keep it in a very safe place, and i’ve never worn it in public, but even having it makes me feel spoiled. Should ig ive it to my mom? Should I sell it to purchace my dream car (wich is very VERY tempting!!!!!!)? Ithey’re kinda family heirlloms, so i would feel bad giving it away but at the same tie I fel bad keping it!
I have 800 ct bedsheets that my parnests bought me and I enjoy drinking smartwater (wich i do buy) does that make me a brat? I mean I love to go tenting and stuff, but when im at home I like bottled water and nice sheets. should i opt out for 200 or 300 ct sheets or soemthing, and drink water from the tap or filter?

My fmaily takes nice vacations, but i feel bad going along. I turned down a trip to europe to see family for my birthday. I’ve already been theere, and i really REALLY wanted to go but I felt like I was accepting too much. We take vacations onec a year or so, (out of country) but recently I’ve been feeling abd going. We stay in nice hotels and buy nice suvioneers (things that we can use tho, like ethnic furnature o0r for me clothing) but I cant help buyt feeling bad.
For the lasty year, the only vacations i’ve taken have been : to the cabbin in tahoe (it was for my brothers birthday, we always go to the cabbin for it) in desolation sound (my uncle ownes a yhat company wth my dad and we have a few boats and it’s nice to sail arround and eanjoy eachothers company) and I’ve also gone on 4 buisness trips with my dad. He is the president of a gas and electricity company is san fransisco, and travels alot. He has his piolet liscense, so we fly on his plane to places liek new york and such. I would normally feel bad about going with him, but I do see it as a learning experiance, i get to help with buisness transaction etc etc, and buisness may be somehting I want ot go into. Should I feel abd or not accept these trips? I really dont want to be spoiled.

I graduated two years early because i had the credits and did some voulenteering. I’m not a stright a student or anyhitng, i have a 3.5 gpa, but I was able to grdaute early. I’m currently going to a comm
, i have a 3.5 gpa, but I was able to grdaute early. I’m currently going to a community college to get my aa just to figure out what i want to do; im voulenteering and oing internships to see waht fields i want to go in, but after I figure it out I am hoping to transfer to uc berkeley. My aprents have told me they are going to pay for my education and I’m a bit worried, if they do does that make me spoiled? I really dont want to be!

I’ve worked all my life, really hard for what I have and recently my lifestyle has been bothering me; I don’t want to be a rude or high-brow person.
I DO WORK VERY HARD! ( I think?) I go to school, I have an online buisness of my own, im on my way to getting my piolets liscense and also working twards a real esate liscnese. (LOL but FIRST i need ot work on my spelling!) I’ve been a model for two years,a nd my career has just started to take off. I used to do catolouge for little money, but I recelt went to new york and l;a for a runway show, and I’m now in high fassion. I get a 30% comission for every high-fassion shoot that is posted in a magzine or newspaper, so it’s good income! (PS I DID PAY MY WAY THROUGH MODELING SCHOOL! My parnets didnt or anyhitng… they don’t want me to model but it’s in interest of mine so I paid myself though it) I also work as a cashier at bcbg in walnut creek ( thats also how I get clothes, from employee dscount) and I work 20 hours a week. When I ahv ethe time, I tutor mentally disabled children for 20$ an hour
It’s basically babysitting but im taching them signh language and how to get arround, they are deaf and blind and sometimes autistic, depedning on waht child im taking care of so it’s very physically and menatlly demading, but I love it!!! I’ve learned so much about body language and the value of a life.

That’s basically how i get my money… it’s not jsut ahnded ot me!!! On my brothday my family and I will ahve a game night/party, invite over realitives and dance till our socks fall off and laugh and have a good time. it’s not like Im us8t handed mony, I think?

I work rally ahrd, but im afriad im on teh verge of being a brat or spoiled!!!
It has really really been bothering me, and I’m very uneasy about it lately.
IM SORRY FOR WRITING SUCH A NOVEL! I feel that I really REALLY want your honest opinions, so i need to be upfront. I usually like to hear and learn about other oeople, i rarely talk about myself this much and please fdont take it the wrong way! im just tring to find out if my fears are true, if im a terrible person.
Please let me know your opinion!!!!!

Am I spoiled or igh maintenance? I really dont want to be!

AND IF I AM, PLEASE PLEASEEEE TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT! I DONT WANT TO BE THIS WAY!

MY ONLY IDEA OF NOT BEING SPOILED IS BY PAYING FOR THINGS BY MYSELF, WICH I FEEL I DO!

AM I DOING THE WRONG THING? SHOULD I PAY MY WAY MORE?

PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME HOW CAN I FIX THIS! I dont want to be a terrible person, ever, ever!!!

A: Just make sure that once you become an adult you can continue to afford that lifestyle. Time will tell. The lifestyle your living right now isn’t real unless of course mommy and pappy continue to give you these material things forever. Or you plan on marrying a rich dude. I know you are VERY young right now but you sound proud that you are materialistic. Make sure you can become a doctor, lawyer,CEO or an important business person so you will be able to continue to have that kind of lifestyle in the future. Otherwise, it will all be just a memory.
