A: The Mustang will hold it’s trade in value better. Before you get a good trade in on your Mitsubishi you will have to trade back to a Mitsubishi dealer. a Mustang holds it’s value no matter where you trade it.
Be sure and check the difference in insurance too. I wouldn’t doubt that the insurance is cheaper on the Mustang since insurance seems to run higher on the smaller faster cars. The mustang is more than likely a safer car which will lower your insurance..
If you don’t mind these differences then go with what you like. It’s your money. Yes, the Mitsubishi will probably get the best gas mileage although Ford has done a lot with the Mustang for 09.
Q: 09 Ford Mustang Fender Cold Air Intake?
Is there someone that makes a Fender Mound or Bumper Mount cold air intake for the 09 Mustang 4.0 V6. I know there is CAI for them, but I want one that the filter is outside the engine bay.
Im only 17 and this is my first car that I bought, but honestly I bought a CAI and there was a little more grunt and better throttle response, cuz i have it paired with spacer, exhaust, headers, and throttle body.
A: The problem with the fender mounted intakes for mustangs in the past has been that the air passing the Throttle body transfers a whistling sound into the fender, where the sound is then amplified like a megaphone. There is even a guy who sells a fix to this issue in earlier models: http://store.chipsv6specialties.com . Ever improving quality is likely the cause of you fruitless search. Also these kits offer marginal (if any) gains over the kits you have already found, and are more prone to damage. The filters also come in funny shapes that are hard to install. Your only option, and this is more extreme, is the Shaker Hood, example found here:

If under hood temps are your concern-the most expensive set of JBA headers are the way to go. I wouldn’t normally advertise for them, but they seem to be the only 50 state way to go. If that is not enough you can wrap them with header wrap. You can even wrap the stock exhaust manifold.

Q: I need help with this answer. Which car should I buy? 2008/09 Ford mustang gt or 08/09 Pontiac G8 Gt.?
I really can’t decide which is better. I’m going to get one or the other. I’m sort of leaning towards the mustang because it is more a muscle type car. However, The G8 have a cool body style and a great interior and is also better in rain and snow.

A: The governor is set at 145-147 MPH. Some of them have the MyColor option, some do not. The GT Premium models are more likely to have it than than the GT Deluxe models are. All the GT’s are rated at 300 HP and produce about 255-265 RWHP, the automatics have a bit more driveline loss than the manuals do. As others have mentioned the CAI w/tune mod is the best bang for the buck with these cars, however you will not see a gain of 25 RWHP, realistically 25 HP at the crank is more attainable. There’s not much gain with aftermarket exhaust systems in the S197 GT. The stock system is not restrictive at all, and doesn’t become a liability until you’re up around 450-500 HP and/or run forced induction. But people do swap the mufflers to get a better sound out of it.

A: Im 16 having a 65 mustang love it if i could have a 09′ mustang i would kill i love my 65 and would never give it up but that would be my second car they fn fly and are so much more fun definitely if you want to start working on cars explorer is really just a waste buy a truck or the mustang suvs are like trucks that cant haul things…Mustang will be the collest car ever and i saw the snow comment this depends on where you live texas your fine maine your not so good i live in PA and they shutdown schools with 1/2 inch of snow lolz…good luck. A: Because the newer Mustangs are styled like the ones from the late 60s and they didn`t have the Ford oval either. BTW, Mustangs from the 90s DID have the oval emblem.

Q: Are 2005-09 V6’s and V8’s mustang good cars? Which engine is better? Opinions?
I would like to get a 2005-09 ford mustang but I wanted to get peoples opinions on the car first. Which is better the V6 or V8? Is the V6 mustang fast? How does the V6 compare to the V8? What tranny is best? How is the interior comfort, are the seats comfy and everything easy to get to? Would either make a good car to go 120 miles round trip a couple days a week. Also does any one a good place to buy one for not that expensive I’ve found them on craigslist for about 13,000 I think that’s as good as I’m going to get. Anything else you would want to tell about the 2005-09 mustang please let me know. If you know anything leave a answer.
Oh and I wanted to know which mustang’s have the dash gauges that you can change colors.
A: The gauge thing is called mycolor, and lots of Mustangs have them. Just look for that option.
The 4.6 V8 is good, it responds very well to modifications. It has good power and sound.
The 4.0 V6 is just ok. It’s a little rough and not as efficient as it could be. I’d go for the V8 if it were my money.
