I have been hearing many things about the 09 satng. I heard that there could be a ford mustang cobra. Not shelby. Also i heard they might bring the 5.0L back . They have to do something to match the new camero and challenger .What do you think?

A: It is on the steering wheel. If its not there then it doesn’t have it.

Q: Would a MagnaFlow Exhaust system sound good on a 2009 V6 Mustang?
I want to put a MagnaFlow exhaust on my 2009 mustang V6 but i dont want it to be too loud or annoying. I just want an aggresive sounding purr when i accelarate that is nice and strong but not too loud, would a magnaflow sound good on it?
Would somthing else sound better?
A: V6 motors are very quiet, I’ve tried Magna Flow and didn’t like it period. I would go with FlowMaster 40 series (not the Delta), sound very nice and aggressive when stump on the pedal.

i just heard that ford is making 500 shelby KR’s with a new cobra jet engine for draginf. just like the 1968 cobra jet.
The said it has a new supercharger and a tuned gt500 engine but they had to tune it down to 400hp becuase of the NHRA rules. Why 400 hp?

Q: Help removing a stock CD player from a 2009 Mustang?
I’ve been looking at my console on a 2009 Mustang and cant figure out how to get the stock CD player out. I wanna make sure I know how before I go buy a new unit. Any help would be awesome.
A: depending on what audio system your car has you should look at the front of the radio and notice at least 2 holes these holes are there so you can insert a special tool and that will release the radio. you can purchase this tool from the dealer or most car audio shops in your local area. once you insert the tool the radio will slide right out with no trouble. now if you have the mach 360 sound system or second upgrade you will have to remove the trim molding around the radio in order to remove it. this molding is very easy to break and if not removed correctly it can rattle when it is reinstalled not to mention it is insanely expensive i would recommend going somewhere that offers free installation with the purchase of your new radio and let them install it just in case something happens. ALSO IF NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED A AUDIO SYSTEM WILL VOID YOUR FORD FACTORY WARRANTY ON THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OF YOUR ENTIRE CAR SO UNLESS YOU JUST HAVE TO HAVE A NEW RADIO WAIT UNTILL YOUR WARRANTY EXPIRES. try changing your speakers or adding a amp to your existing radio if possible this will not void your warranty and could save you thousands of dollars if something electrical were to fail within the factory warranty period.

A: yes definently. It will void ud warranty but other than that it’s a good idea. A v6 mustang turbo will eat any v8 mustang alive, unless the v8 is super or turbo charged as well. I’d recommend it cuz you’d also save gas as opposed to a v8 as long as u stay below 3500 rpms for regular driving. A turbo kit will run u 3500 to 5000 bucks, not to mention the price to get it installed, unless u know ppl. The only thing that would stop me from turboimg that mustang is the warranty being voided, as it is a Ford.

A: well 1st of all its really not good for the car or the tires….
bit of technique all that’s required:
-clutch in, rev to about 2000rpm
-keep your foot on the gas, dump the clutch and using your clutch foot immediately apply the brakes….feather the accelerator more or less for the burnout you are looking for.

A: on the stock components you can take the late model v6 to 350hp.

more than 350 hp on your engine – it will fail.
to go beyond the 350 range would require extensive work (forged internals, race heads, ported and polished ).
for the supercharger installation you will also require
-cold air intake and throttle body spacer
-performance exhaust, catbacks and preferably headers
-pro tune to reset the engine management system.
to make you quicker you can also install larger gears in the rear end, 3.73’s for example.
any or all of these will k.o. your warranty (some care-some do not…my car warranty was k.o.’d in 1st 18 mos.).
in any event you can price out the above superchargers and the necessary other installations, likely all in with shop labor in the range of $8000 to 10,000 (power is not cheap).
to get to 450 would not be worthwhile – make more sense to go up to a GT which on stock internals can be supercharged up to that range.

I have decided to buy a 2009 Ford Mustang GT and cannot decide if I want a hardtop or convertible. Any suggestions?
A: Go with the hardtop. Convertibles are nice when the weather is good but if it’s cold, really hot or rainy they are no fun. I loved my convertible for about 6 months after that it got old in a hurry.

A: yes u can tell, well at least i can! lol the 05 is plainer look with not as flashy rims and engine has 15 less hp than the 09 (315 compared to 300) the 2009 has 3.73 optional rear gear and the best the 05 could do is 3.55 the 09 also has sync and available glass roof ambient lighting and tons of more features that the 05 doesnt have! any other questions dont hesitate to msg me ur ?s!

A: At the end of the year, December. The lots have deals and will let last years cars go cheaper because they don’t want to have to pay the taxes for keeping them on the lot any longer
